Christian Beck in action 9

An email sent to Beck yesterday,  on the 29 May 2020. We’ll let you know if he responds.

This is getting worse and worse!

His former wife has subsequently claimed that he put caveats on all their properties, whether they were in her name or his name or the joint names, virtually on the day he left, and whether he had a proper basis to do so or not – she’s a fully trained and experienced solicitor, so she should know what she’s talking about. And if this is true, it would appear that he may have been trying to ensure that she couldn’t organise any loans for the four kids and her to survive on while he fought tooth and nail, using the most aggressive lawyers he could find, to avoid the Family Court from ordering him to pay over any money, or at least delay it, from day one – when he was leaving her???

As we have said, he may have a different version of things, but it’s almost as though he believes in vindictiveness for it’s own sake???

What do our readers think?

We’ll let you know if we get a reply.

Christian Beck in action 8

One of those recently made redundant by Beck claims that he is only one of more than six hundred also made redundant by Beck, which may or may not be so.

Of course, even if it is true, Beck is not the only one making people redundant. Numerous articles are appearing in the media with headings like, “Unfair dismissal claims soar.”

It will be interesting to see how many of these claims are made by former Beck employees, how any of these who make claims get on, and how details of the claims and how claimants get on, are mede available to the public, you and me – to provide indications as to whether seeking employment by any of Beck’s companies might be a good idea or not.

In the meantime, while all this is going on, it’s being claimed that Beck has recently bought a five million dollar house, shown below, for when he’s spending custody time with his children, to go with the two million dollar house he’s bought for the latest lady in his life, and the four million waterfront unit he’s recently bought for himself as well – not a good look we would have thought!

To be honest, we’re not 1oo% sure we’ve been advised correctly on these matters – perhaps we’ve got things all wrong – perhaps Beck will set us straight when he sees this post??? But, so far, we’ve not found him to be exactly upfront and honest.

Christian Beck’s companies and Glassdoor.com.au reviews 1

We’ve recently become aware of www.glassdoor.com.au, a review site, (there are more and more review sites appearing on the internet these days,) to which employees can submit reviews on employers, and on which, of course, there are already thousands of such reviews – see this:-

We’re still learning about this website, but when we briefly used it to search for reviews on Leap Legal, some terrible reviews came up. Readers will have to do their own searching, as we’re afraid that if we put any of the not so good ones up on this blog it, Leap could claimed it was defamation.

In general, we don’t take much notice of reviews, but, if you were looking for a good employer it would be hard to ignore some of the claims in some of the reviews.

There are claims like, “The company does not value it’s employees, it only breaks them down and spits them out. Even the previous CEO was spat out!” and also, “I can confirm all the super positive posts on here since May have been because the Chairman, (presumably Beck,) told the management team to write them,” which, of course, we don’t know whether they’re soundly based.

We believe that when we’re looking for good employers there are no shortcuts – we have to do our own homework.

Step 1: Look for people and organisations who have ordinary email addresses – we have been working on this sort of thing for more than 12 years and have consistently found that, other things being equal, those who only have email forms, let alone those who only have fax numbers, are seldom worth bothering with. (Occasionally you might think it’s worth sending an email to people and organisations that only have email forms, but, if you do this and you don’t get a response from them that provides you with an ordinary email address you can use in the future, they are also not worth bothering with.)

Step 2: Use any ordinary email addresses available to send them an email – to a certain extent it doesn’t matter about what. A perfect one, in this case, would be to use their ordinary email address, (Leap has one – support@leap.com.au) to send an email asking for a comment on one of the bad reviews. We would almost fall over dead if such an email was even acknowledged.

In the only relevant experience we know of personally, so far, in the middle of having a “chat,” using it’s chat facility, all of a sudden the person having the chat was left high and dry, the person they were chatting to was no longer available, and when he made a complaint, using this ordinary email address, the complaint wasn’t even acknowledged.

We suppose, that when Beck’s own brother and own father are claiming that they’ve found that he doesn’t value people, that it’s hardly likely that the people he employs are likely to value the people that work for them, and so on and so on.

And we suppose the bottom line is that Beck thinks that how things are has got him this far, why should he try to make things any better.

Lie after lie after lie 2

If you click on this this link, you are taken to an article on Christian Beck which opens with this:-

Unfortunately, according to Christian’s father, the second paragraph couldn’t be further from the truth, as is the claim that “he taught himself to code.”

What actually happened, according to his father, from when Beck left school, and came to live with him at the beginning of 1987, is set out in detail in other posts on this blog.

If any of what’s set out is true, then what you have to expect, if you are going to deal with Beck, is lie after lie after lie.

Christian Beck in action 7

After being married to his former wife in early 2002, Beck walked out on her and their four children in mid-2018.

From her point of view, the good news, perhaps the only good news, is that at some point the Family Court will surely order Beck to pay her half of the amount by which the joint wealth increased during the course fo the marriage, which could be considerable – the law on this is crystal clear.

The extent to which Beck is using the most aggressive lawyers he can find to delay this Family Court order for as long as possible, and how he is treating her and their four children in the meantime – we have set out some of the details she’s provided on this in this previous post – gives us a great deal of information on what he is really like, a lot of which could have been expected. It’s almost as if he believes she, and incidentally their four children, should be punished! – when he left her, she didn’t leave him.

But something she’s recently added has left us astounded – “HE’S NOT GOING TO STARVE ME OUT. HE’S TRIED AND COME CLOSE TWICE NOW.”

Unbelievable??????

Not at all! Not at all! When it comes to Beck, nothing is unbelievable!

Christian Beck, Leap Legal – dealing with 9

An extract from this article http://www.bpmcorp.com.au/documents/previewpdf/276.

In typical Beck style a lot of the truth on these matters has been left out, or, anything that’s been said has been embellished, to put it mildly! His father has added the following:-

In Christian’s first two years out of school – 1987 and 1988 – after being very poor at school work, he’d even been made to repeat one of his early years, he had 6 jobs, one of which he got the sack from after 3 weeks! Naturally I was very concerned – he seemed a hopeless case! Despite having lived, since the age of 11, i.e. for more than 7 years, with an older brother, a bit over 13 months his senior, who was so into computers and who seemed destined for a great career in computers, (which is how it’s turned out,) Christian had never shown the slightest interest in them. But, as indicated above, working in his 6th job got him interested. So I started sending him to weekend conferences and other seminars, and, as is mentioned, he started working in my computers at night and seemed to be becoming more and more interested in them, – was this the light at the end of the tunnel? Could he also have a career in computers, like his brother? Eventually, I invited him to come and work in my office, which led to me setting him up with a mate, who was a computer expert, to work side-by-side with him, both on good wages, with no rent or other incidental expenses to pay, and computers and other incidentals provided. As is stated, this was in 1989. And then the lies start! He’s quoted elsewhere as saying that I asked him to come and work on improving the systems I had developed – which couldn’t be further from the truth. At the time he started working in my office, his only knowledge about computers and computing was bits and pieces he’d picked up in the weekend conferences and seminars I’d sent him to, and initially, for quite a while, he and his mate just worked for a grocery chain. (He’s also quoted elsewhere that he taught himself programming, which is also absolute rubbish rubbish – he was taught programming by his mate and his brother.) Eventually, of course, they did stop working for the grocery chain and started developing systems for legal practices, but the claims that “young Beck decided to improve” his father’s systems are further quite incredible lies. Of course, my systems were a starting point for him, but he never worked on my systems and I never used his – mainly because my systems utilised a database program called Filemaker, and, on the recommendation of his brother, his systems used a different database program called 4th Dimension. So for nearly 3 years, from early 1989 into 1992, when it’s mentioned that “Leap Legal was born,” they kept working away in my office – I even provided him with his first employee  – one of my legal secretaries, and continued paying her wages for some months. And the rest, as they say, is history. Of course, Christian deserves full credit for a lot of what’s happened since 1992 – but, as is noted, “It was almost by accident that Christian” started his business – with my help he stumbled into something in which he has thrived.

Of course, the main point of our publishing the above is to make more people more aware of what dealing with Beck is like – lie after lie, and misrepresentation after misrepresentation. And to beware! The fact that it’s claimed that, in the face of the virus problem, he’s recently sacked 600 employees, leaving 600 people to search for alternative employment in the worst possible work environment, Seems to just be more of the same.

In this respect, his father has added this.

In it’s early days, Christian was always saying that Leap was one third mine. But, of course, in hindsight, this was just typical Christian Beck – it was just to induce me to keep giving and giving and giving,  so he could keep using me and using me, because, in the end, he went against everything he’d ever said, and I ended up with nothing, in a share of any size or anything else? If I’d ended up with it being 2 or even 1% mine, I’d most likely be a multi-millionaire now. Instead, I’ve fallen on really hard times and have almost nothing.

A copy of this post has just, on 21 May 2020, been emailed to Beck for his comments, and if we receive any – not that we’re expecting any for a moment – they will be added to this post.

Christian Beck, Leap Legal – dealing with 8

A letter just, on 19 May 2020, emailed to Beck:-
